As you may be aware we have a management company (Burley Wood Management Company, or BWMC) to look after the roads, common areas, and paths for which we collect an annual maintenance fee. The bulk of this fee is invested to cover the future cost of resurfacing roads when the time comes (so that residents do not get hit with a very large bill when substantial maintenance becomes necessary). BWMC holds an annual general meeting, in March of each year. The notice of the AGM and the annual accounts, are distributed prior to this meeting.
The AGM is a good opportunity to meet your neighbours, and to learn a bit more about what the board does for the estate. The BWMC board members are fellow residents who give their own time to look after these areas. BWMC communicates via e-mail with the residents, where possible, so please let us know your e-mail address for our mailing list.
